10th August; Physiotherapy for Anti-discrimination movement’s victims

Bangladesh Physical Therapy Association BPA has taken initiative to stand with anti-discrimination movement’s victims who requires long term Physiotherapy and rehabilitation treatment to return to normal life.
” Inaugural ceremony  of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation treatment for anti-discrimination movement’s victims” held on 10th August at Tofazzol Hossen Manik Mia Auditorium in National Press Club. 

A few number of victims of anti-discrimination movement, their parents have shared their experience of  ongoing crisis they  face. Some of the patients has lost 01 or 02 limbs, some has lost sensation of limb, some has lost strength of walking or standing without support etc.    Long term Physiotherapy treatment is required  which is very much costly. Hence they have  welcomed this initiative of Physiotherapy at no cost arranged by BPA nationwide. 

BPA President Dr. Dolilur Rahman and Secretary General has described the Significance of Physiotherapy and rehabilitation treatment for the anti-discrimination movement’s victims.

Professor Md Azam (newly appointed DG of Bangla Academy) as chief guest, Shima Datta (President, Naree Mukti Kendro)  as special guest of honor  was present there. They highly appreciated BPA for this initiative.
